Use a small brush size for detailed areas and a larger brush size for broader blending. Work with a low opacity for a subtle blending effect and gradually increase the opacity if needed. The longer you drag the tool, the more the colors will blend together. Drag the Smudge tool across the canvas, blending the colors as needed. 
Adjust the size and opacity of the Smudge tool using the sliders in the toolbar. Experiment with different brushes to achieve the desired blending effect. Choose a brush from the Brush Library for your Smudge tool. Select the Smudge tool from the toolbar located at the top right corner of the screen. Open your Procreate project and select the layer where you want to blend colors. It allows you to mix colors by simulating the action of dragging or smudging paint with your finger or a brush. If you drag a default Procreate brush, the original will remain in place and unchanged. This will instantly switch to the new Set, then drop your brush there. You can also pick up the brush you want to move, tap your destination Set with another finger. To move a brush from one Brush Set to another, pick it up, hover it over the destination Brush Set, and drop it. You can now drop the stack into a new position in the list. A number will appear next to the + icon counting how many items your stack holds. 
With another finger, tap any other items you want to add to the stack. To move multiple brushes or Brush Sets, pick up the first item as above and drag it. Drag it to a new position in the list and lift your finger to release it. After a moment, it will ‘lift up’ and darken. Tap and hold the brush or Brush Set you want to move.
Pick up multiple items to rearrange your Brush Library fast. Drag and drop brushes and Brush Sets to new positions in the list.
